My EERF DIY grinder build
I hope this article helps encourage you to build this grinder. The photos below will show the steps in how I built this grinder along with the blueprints necessary to create the grinder. The grinder below does not reflect the three changes I have made since I built this grinder. I have since this grinder has been built made the upright taller by 2 inches, moved the tracking wheel 2 inches forward along with lengthening the arm that holds it. And lastly made the baseplate larger and relocated the hole for the motor so that a 56 flange style motor can be directly bolted to the baseplate. Recently Jamie at polarbearforge.com has offered this grinder in kit form that you can purchase if you can not get it cut locally for a decent price. He even upgraded this grinder slightly with a few great mods, checkout his sight.
