Combat Customizing the 1911 Auto
By Bill Wilson
Well I have had this book quite a while and it is mostly the resource that taught me what I know today. So I might be biased slightly, but I really like this book. Now the Photos are very dark and not very good, but the content is great. Bill gets into fitting barrels, bushings, extractors and beavertail fittings and much more, he even gets alittle into milling sights. Now if you are looking for a book to show you how to dissasemble and clean your pistol this is not the one. But if you are looking for a real 1911smithing book, this is one you need to have in your collection. Bills book has 195 pages and although the photos could be better I give it a thumbs up.
