This book is a all purpose Pistolsmithing book. It covers both Revolvers and 1911's. There is a fairly good 1911 section written on how Bob Day accurizes the 1911. There is also a article on Tools, hardening steel, polishing, welding and a host of other articles. All in all I thought the book was a good read and it has some very good pictures to boot. This book has 288 pages and many very good photos, overall I give it a thumbs up
